Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to welcome you to Everglades K-8 Center PTSA. The Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is the largest statewide volunteer organization working exclusively on behalf of children and youth. The PTSA helps our children and teachers to acquire the necessary items and materials needed in having a successful school year. Membership is open to anyone who shares our commitment to children. During these financial troubling times I would like for all of the parents/guardians to make a commitment to the children of our school and become a PTSA member. The yearly membership is only $6.00. Becoming a member does not obligate you to volunteer; however, you are still contributing to the students and the school by showing your support by becoming a PTSA member. Please complete the attached envelope, include the payment and return to your child’s teacher as soon as possible. The membership drive will conclude by September 30th. Once we have processed your information, we will be sending a membership card home with your child and your name will be included on our PTSA bulletin board.
